Each Module including introduction needs one week to study, meditate and practice. Each week another module will be published. All modules are free.

2. Personal Development

For those who follow the path of the Modern-Day Witch – it’s spiritual, sacred, liberating, enlightening, and a path towards being a better human.

Some of the topics included in this module are:

  • Know yourself and your energy
  • Healing starts at Home
  • Owning your Shadow
  • Relationship with the 4 elements: earth, fire, air and water
  • Self-responsibility
  • Spiritual Hygiene.
  • Daily practise
  • Meditation, contemplation and concentration

3. Introduction to Divination

Tuning into Higher guidance and being able to access non-linear information is a key art of the Modern Witch

Some of the topics included in this module are:

  • Intuition – what is it and how to develop it. ability”
  • Relationship between conscious and unconscious mind
  • The Universe works symbolically.
  • The liminal spaces; threshold points.
  • Tuning into your different senses:
  • Fire – Intuition, clairvoyance; inner knowing; visions; visual images
  • Earth – Sensation kinaesthetic or physical feelings; dowsing; clairsentience
  • Water – Feeling; emotional sensibility; gut feelings; moods; psychic empathy
  • Air – Thinking; auditory input; clairaudience; inner messages; channelling

4. Altars, Ritual, Ceremony

Some of the topics included in this module are:

  • Difference between ritual and ceremony; altars and shrines.
  • Altar set up
  • Developing relationship with the 4 building blocks air, earth, fire and water
  • Timing – moon cycles; equinoxes and solstices; festivals; weekdays
  • Rites of passage
  • Meditation on the 4 seasons. Growing; Reaping; Resting; Purifying

5. Spell Casting

  • What is a Spell? 
  • Intention and focus (wand work)

  • 5 beginner herbs – holy basil; lavender; rosemary, mint, thyme
  • 5 beginner wild plants – nettle; dandelion; mugwort; hawthorn & blackthorn

  • Designing your own rituals.

Assessment

To receive School of Witchcraft certificate of completion for Basic Witchcraft Course you must:

Complete ALL Modules of Basic Witchcraft Course including meditations, journal prompts and assessment questions

Design, implement and submit for review 3 spell casting case studies.

Full details of assessment criteria will be given in your documents once school begins.
