However, witches have been using it for centuries as they believed to be a potent aphrodisiac, as it embodies the aura with attractive properties. Furthermore, it is used a herb in protection sachets and mojo bags.
Because of all the above, Witches used Catnip for many reasons:
- To attract a lover: Witches used to add catnip in their favourite strong drink (usually rum, whiskey or gin). They let it soak in it for a whole lunar circle, from one New Moon to the next (approximately 28days). On the first day of the next New Moon and for 21 days, they sprinkled this potion on their doorstep, thus inviting the love of their life.
- Furthermore, they added it in mojo bags to attract a lover and enhance their charms. Some added calamus and dragon’s blood in it too.
- Witches used to burn some over a charcoal to invite blessings and protection in their home.
You will receive 30 grams of Catnip (dried).
