New Moon in Virgo

Every lunation is a beginning, but not every beginning is announced with trumpets. This one arrives in the dark, in an earth sign, in the month when the threshing floors are swept and the grain is counted. Virgo does not open a cycle by declaring anything. Supply chains, grain and food safety come under scrutiny. Virgo is the sorter, and this Moon is at its most literal in matters of harvest, storage and inspection.
