General thoughts

Today the Moon occupies her fall in Scorpio. She forms squares to Venus and Mars, and begins forming a square to Saturn. At the same time, she begins forming trines to Jupiter and Mercury in Pisces. The Moon leaves the via combusta this evening. 

This will be a tense day for the fixed signs Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius. All three water signs – Cancer, Scorpio, and Aquarius – will have greater support and good fortune with the water trine from Jupiter, though as a fixed sign Scorpio will have engage in some familiar inner alchemy in order to get it.

Aries

Aries will have a very full day as the Moon activates the hard aspects with Venus, Mars, and Saturn from Aries’ sister sign of Scorpio. Conflicts and obstacles will slow down your progress today. With the Moon transiting your 8th, you will have trouble getting what you want.

You will, however, overcome these obstacles today. You will be successful. Venus in your 11th house ensures that friendships will strengthen even if you must go through some choppy water to get there. 

Taurus

The Moon continues to activate your 7th and 10th houses of relationship and career. Whenever the Moon forms hard aspects to your Sun from Scorpio, unconscious, destructive patterns can resurface with relationships and romantic partners. Things will be slow and stressful at your place of work today. 

These will still ultimately be fruitful for your career – whatever arises is coming up to be cleared and resolved. If you can survive the remainder of this Scorpio Moon period, you will find rewards coming to you from friendships and potential business relationships with jupiter in your 11th house. 

Gemini

Today will be a busy, tense day with the Moon in your 6th house. Don’t overwork yourself or push yourself too hard, as there is a strong possibility of burnout or injury for you today. 

While the Moon is here, she will form a trine to Jupiter in your 10th house: if you can successfully keep from overextending yourself today, you will receive new insights related to your career or sense of purpose in life.  

Cancer

Your Sun forms a grand water trine today with the Moon in Scorpio and Jupiter and Mercury in Pisces, so you will find a great deal of ease and support coming to you today. 

While yesterday was a very creative day, today will feel a little more blocked as the Moon gets closer to the squares to Mars and Saturn. Keep listening to your emotional center and intuitive, but don’t be surprised if you don’t get as far with it today as you did yesterday.

Leo

Leo’s challenges from yesterday will continue as the Moon, Mars, and Venus light up your 4th house of home and 7th house of relationships. There will be trouble at home and with romance. 

You’re almost out of the fire – the Moon will finish up these squares tomorrow, and you will find resolution coming to the issues that have arisen for you over the past several days.

Virgo

The universe is still asking you to listen to your emotions and intuitions today. As the Moon gets closer and closer to Mars, this request will get louder and louder. What are the non-linear, “irrational” parts of your self telling you to do today? 

This is a good day to be in community and dialogue with other people. Don’t spend too much time alone today –you have a lot of rewards to receive from being with other people, even if those rewards require more emotional labor than is comfortable for you.

Libra

This is another good day for resources and money making as the Moon in your 2nd house forms a trine to Jupiter today. You can do good work to improve your financial situation today.

Boundaries with relationships are important as the Moon also forms a square to Mars today. Libra is very comfortable over giving, but that habit will not be rewarded today. Don’t give too much of yourself, especially your possessions, to other people today. 

Scorpio

This is a lucky day for Scorpio as the Moon goes through your first house and activates the beautiful water trine to Jupiter in Pisces. Helpful advice and support from mentors, financial support, and spiritual growth are all available today. 

However, the difficulties of the Scorpio Moon and the Mars Square will make you work for it. The lessons you get from others may not be easy at first. Triggers and traumas will resurface to serve as the fuel for the growth that comes later.

Sagittarius

 Yesterday was a good day for solitude and solo trips, and today will also carry a similar solitary vibe as the Moon continues to move through your 12th house. Because of the Jupiter trine today, you will find a lot of good fortune coming to you if you can engage in spiritual practice, meditation, and even ceremony today. 

Local community will be a source of tension today. Don’t run a lot of errands, don’t spend too much time with your neighbors, and don’t dilly-dally at the local coffeeshop – focus instead on your own process. 

Capricorn

Friendships and alliances will lift you up today as the Moon moves through your 11th house and trines Jupiter. There are positive points of contact waiting for you in your local community with Jupiter in your 3rd – spend more time with the riff-raff than may be comfortable for you, and you will be rewarded.

In a similar vein to your Virgo siblings, the watery nature of the day is pushing you to release control and let go. Expect success and good fortune to come from somewhere beyond the very narrow avenues where you expect it. Detach from results and see what the universe provides you.

Aquarius

Today things will come to a head as the Moon triggers the Mars square over your Sun. Health issues and stress could surface. The questions and doubts you have made about your own self-identity over the past year will solidify and come to clarity. 

Resources and money can grow today despite these issues, as the Moon activates Jupiter in your 2nd house. Even if things seem to be totally out of control, there is a good deal of stability underneath the surface.

Pisces

This is a good day for reading, studying, listening to podcasts, or anything that involves learning or expanding your horizons with the Moon in your 9th house. This will have a very personal affect with Jupiter in your 1st. With the watery nature of Scorpio Moon and Pisces, Jupiter, you will be best off listening to your instincts for fields of study.

As you engage in your learning, make sure that you keep one foot on solid ground and stay focused. This configuration can make it easy to get lost in the ethers or to begin swimming in circles with your own process when more clarity and realism is needed from you.
