Sagittarius Full Moon & The Lunar Standstill June 11th 2025: The Wild Truth Is Calling. Wednesday’s Full Moon in Sagittarius arrives on June 11th at 8:42am BST bringing adventure, intrigue, restlessness and opportunities for great growth. Coinciding with the lunar standstill — the culmination of an 18.6-year cycle. The Moon will rise and set at its most southerly point on the horizon, carving an arc of maximum deviation across the sky. It’s a moment of celestial rebellion, a cosmic break from the usual rules, and it mirrors what many of us are feeling within: a pull towards our wild truth, our uncharted territory. A place of tension, release, and reorientation. The Moon here doesn’t obey the solar order. It challenges it. It demands freedom. If you’ve felt constrained by external expectations or inner doubts, this is a clarion call to break the spell and write a new narrative.
Positioned at 20 degrees Sagittarius, the Moon is forming a fiery opposition to the Sun in Gemini. Gemini gathers facts. Sagittarius weaves those facts into new myths. Together, they stretch the mind in opposite directions — the small mind of Gemini that wants certainty, control, and containment versus the limitless mind of Sagittarius that leaps into the unknown. Under this Full Moon, the invitation is clear: loosen the reins. Let go of rigid thinking. Allow the bigger story to unfold.
Adding to this lunar alchemy, Jupiter — ruler of Sagittarius — has just moved into Cancer, where it forms a mutual reception with the Moon, occurring only once, every twelve years. Mutual reception creates a channel of enhanced resonance and mutual support between planets in each other’s signs. Jupiter in Cancer expands what nourishes, what protects, what soothes. The Moon in Sagittarius illuminates our belief systems, our vision quests, our longing to grow beyond limitation. Together, they speak of a yearning for emotional authenticity and a deeper sense of home — not only where we live, who we live with and how, but who we are becoming.
A Grand Fire Trine is blazing across the sky, linking the Moon in Sagittarius, Chiron in Aries, and Mars in Leo. This is an energetic configuration of individuation, courage, and creative ignition. Chiron brings the medicine of the wounded healer — the place where our deepest injuries become our greatest gifts. Mars in Leo dares to lead from the heart. The Sagittarius Moon says, “Take the risk. Be your own guru. Trust your fire.” It’s not rehearsal time anymore — we’re stepping into the embodied reality of the self we’ve been dreaming into being.
Meanwhile, we’re moving toward the final exact square between Jupiter and Saturn on June 15th, tracing back to the seed point at the Capricorn Solstice of December 2020. That moment launched a new 20-year cycle of Aquarius consciousness — collective evolution, humanitarian ideals, and technological awakening. Now we’re at a pivot point. What’s been built since then? Are your values still aligned with your growth? Do your beliefs still support your path, or is it time for a major revision?
This Full Moon squares the nodal axis, intensifying the karmic crossroads. With Gemini at the helm, we’re faced with choices: recycle the past or risk the future. Sample life’s buffet of possibilities. Travel the road less travelled. Let uncertainty guide you beyond the limits of what you know. This is the hero’s journey and you’re halfway through it — between identities, between the you that was and the one you’re becoming.
There’s a strong note of emotional intensity woven into this lunation. Mercury and Jupiter conjunct in Cancer offer gentle encouragement to slow down, to listen inwardly, to rest and recalibrate. Mercury’s recent exit from Gemini’s rapid-fire zone ushers us into more emotionally attuned communication. We’re invited to speak not just from intellect, but from heart memory, from soul knowing.
This can be disorienting. You may find yourself revisiting past regrets or reviewing choices that no longer align. The Full Moon is casting its light into our emotional closets. If sorrow, shame, or disappointment rise, meet them with compassion. These are the ghosts we tend to on the threshold of transformation. Their message: you are ready now to forgive, release, and move on.
Venus returned to Taurus on June 5th until July 4th, offering sensual grounding and an invitation to pleasure. This is an ideal counterpoint to the high-wattage mental and emotional energy surrounding the Full Moon. Venus in Taurus reminds us to live in our bodies, to take joy seriously, and to root back into what feels real.
And yet, the heavens remain restless. Mars squares Uranus on June 15th — an aspect that can disrupt, agitate, liberate. This is friction that shakes us out of stuckness. Protect what you cherish, but don’t cling. Change, though uncomfortable, can be a sacred ally.
The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon — 21 Sagittarius: A child and a dog wearing borrowed eyeglasses — speaks to both the playful absurdity and potential blindness of this moment. It’s a reminder to question what we’re seeing, and how. Are we pretending to understand things we don’t? Are we wearing borrowed perspectives that don’t actually fit? Sometimes, fantasy leads to a genuine shift in consciousness. Other times, we’re just play-acting intelligence. The invitation is to grow up without losing our sense of wonder.
Throughout this week, themes of truth, faith, and personal sovereignty dominate. With Pluto in Aquarius quietly recalibrating our relationship to collective power and integrity, we’re seeing a slow-burning revolution unfold. Leadership must become transparent. Power must return to the people. The Sagittarius Moon, in its highest expression, stands for moral courage and freedom of thought — not performative righteousness.
As the Sun squares the lunar nodes on June 13th, and Jupiter squares Neptune and Saturn, the pressure builds. We’re negotiating a tension between vision and practicality, expansion and containment. And yet, these aspects offer real opportunity — to make conscious, grounded choices rooted in spiritual clarity.
This is a Full Moon that both reveals and heals. It illuminates the places we’ve outgrown and pushes us to seek a more meaningful, integrated life. It reminds us that there’s no shortcut to real growth. We must feel our way forward, risk vulnerability, and let go of what no longer serves.
So where do you want to be by the next turn of the wheel? What new philosophy of life are you ready to live by? What truth are you willing to speak — not just for others to hear, but for your soul to finally acknowledge?
This Sagittarius Full Moon calls you to imagine more boldly, speak more honestly, and live more fully — not from someone else’s script, but from your own ever-expanding story.
Let the truth find you. Let the fire guide you. And above all, trust that the road will rise to meet you. Wishing you all infinite full Moon love and blessings.

“Truth Fire: A Sagittarius Full Moon Ceremony”
For Liberation, Expansion & Realignment
This ritual is designed to help you release outdated beliefs, call back your fire, and walk forward with renewed clarity and courage.
You Will Need:
- A purple or red candle (for spiritual clarity and fire)
- A fire-safe bowl or cauldron
- Paper and pen
- A sprig of rosemary or sage
- A favourite object that represents your personal truth (a talisman, photo, feather, etc.)
Ritual Steps:
1. Open the Space
Light your candle. Gently wave your rosemary or sage over your body and around your space, cleansing away old energies.
Say aloud:
“I call upon the wild truth of Sagittarius, the wisdom of fire, the vision of Jupiter. May this ritual guide me home to myself.”
2. Speak the Old Story
Write down one limiting belief, old narrative, or worn-out truth that’s been holding you back. Read it aloud. Feel it leave your body.
Burn the paper in your fire-safe bowl. As the flames consume it, whisper:
“I release this story with gratitude. It no longer defines me.”
3. Call in the New Vision
Hold your talisman to your heart. Close your eyes. Visualise your next chapter. What does your expanded self believe, know, or do differently? When ready, write it down in a single sentence starting with:
“My truth is…”
Read it aloud three times. Let it imprint into your cells.
4. Seal the Ceremony
Place your written truth on your altar or keep it somewhere sacred. Blow out the candle slowly and say:
“May this fire keep burning in me. May I walk the road that’s mine, with courage and joy.”
Sit in silence for a few minutes. Let your breath anchor you. Let the truth settle in.
So Mote it be…..
