General Predictions for the Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Aries:

On March the 20^th, at 04:13 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Aries, forming the New Moon. This is the second New Moons in Aries, in 2023, as the previous one was also in Aries. Moreover, this New Moon is a Total Solar Eclipse. This is the first of the two Eclipses of this period. It’s also the first Eclipse that happens in the Aries-Libra axis and the Cardinal Cross, although the Lunar Nodes are still in the Taurus-Scorpio axis. The coming Lunar Eclipse will happen in the Taurus-Scorpio axis, and the Fixed Cross.

Keep in mind that during the next Ecliptic Period, although the Lunar Nodes will be in the Aries-Libra axis, the Solar Eclipse will happen in the Aries-Libra Axis, but the Lunar Eclipse will happen in the Taurus-Scorpio axis, again. That one will be the last Eclipse happening in the Taurus-Scorpio Axis and the Fixed Cross.

The Eclipse strongly stresses Pluto and just barely blesses Jupiter. Therefore, although it happens in the Cardinal Cross, the Fixed Cross will also strongly be affected, although not as strongly as during the coming Lunar Eclipse.

On the very day of this New Moon and Solar Eclipse, and four hours after the accurate conjunction of the Moon and the Sun, just an hour and 15 minutes after the end of the Eclipse, the Sun enters Taurus. That’s the only planet that changes its zodiac during the fortnight. Additionally, on the 21^st of the month, at 08:35 UT, Mercury turns Retrograde, ending the only period all planets were Direct, in 2023. Later in the fortnight, on the 1^st of May, at 17:08, Pluto, too, turns Retrograde.

So, although the planetary scenery doesn’t change a lot, it changes quite significantly.

The inauspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Mercury’s square with Pluto, which has ceased activity since the 11^th of April, will resume activity on the eve of the coming Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse, the 4^th of May. Obviously, it won’t affect us any noticeably during this fortnight. Actually, it won’t affect us very noticeably during the whole period of its activity.

Indeed, the square will be active from the 4^th of May and until the 25 of May. During the whole period of its activity it won’t become accurate again. Moreover, it won’t cross the midpoint of the 5°, although it will be close to it at its peak. Therefore, this will be a slight hindrance that we’ll mostly feel because of other aspects stressing Pluto and Mercury. Keep in mind that Pluto is overly charged and stressed, during this whole fortnight. Even more so because the Eclipse stresses Pluto.

Amongst else, this square can challenge our emotional health and condition. Financial dealings, too, need a wiser consideration.

Also, Venus still squares Saturn. The aspect became accurate on the 14^th of April, and got activated on the 6^th of April. It will remain active until the 23^rd of April. Amongst else, this square can challenge love and social life. It can also give some extra difficulties to jobs and careers that are related to health, beauty and the arts.

Similarly, Venus squares Neptune. Accurately so, on the 4^th of May. The aspect will be active from the 26^th of April and until the 14^th of May. Amongst else, this aspect can bring some stress in our personal relationships. It can also stress our emotional condition, which is already stressed by the Eclipse and the overcharged Pluto.

The Sun squares Pluto. Accurately so on the very day of this Solar Eclipse, and under the influences of the Eclipse. Keep in mind, though, that the Eclipse happens in Aries, while the square will become accurate shortly after the Sun enters Taurus. In any case, the aspect is active since the 11^th of April and it will remain so until the 30^th of the month. Amongst else, this square can stress financial matters.

Also, Mars squares Jupiter. Accurately so, on the 23^rd of May, when Jupiter will be in Taurus and Mars will be in Leo. The aspect, though, will be active from the 26^th of April, when Jupiter will still be in Aries, and Mars will still be in Cancer. The square will remain active until 18^th of June. Amongst else, this square can bring some tension in international relationships. In a more personal level it can stress travelling and whatever has to do with other countries and people from other countries. It can also bring some extra challenges in business expansions and things like those.

Finally, Jupiter squares Pluto. Accurately so the 18^th of May, when Jupiter will be in Taurus and Pluto will be Retrograde. The aspect, though, got activated on 6^th of April, while Jupiter was still in Aries and Pluto was Direct. It will be active until the 2^nd of July. By then, Pluto, still Retrograde, will have returned in Capricorn, while Jupiter will be in Taurus.

Right now, and until the square becomes accurate, Jupiter is in full speed, while Pluto is almost stationary. Hence, the square gains power fast. Later in the year, on the 21^st of November, the aspect will get reactivated again, and it will remain active until the 29^th of February 2024. Nonetheless, then, the square won’t become accurate. It won’t even reach the midpoint of the 5°, although just barely.

Amongst else, this square can challenge financial and career matters. It’s also advisable to be more careful with prescribed medicine, in order to avoid mistakes. Addictions, too, might need more effort to be controlled.

The auspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is getting stronger. In fact, it’s already quite strong. As we’ve said, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24^th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs. Pluto has, temporally, changed its zodiac, already.

The two Lucky Stars cooperating with each other can always bring many blessings. A conjunction may not be as harmonious as a triangle, but it’s a stronger aspect. So, make sure you avoid exaggerations, and things will be good. Financial and career matters receive an extra support from this aspect. Even though now the conjunction is not strong, the Eclipse slightly energies Jupiter and the conjunction, so its effects can be prolonged.

Similarly, the Sun conjuncts Mercury. Accurately so, on the 1^st of May. The aspect, though, will be active from the 26^th of April and until the 8^th of May. During this whole period, Mercury will be Retrograde. As this aspect, amongst else, brings some good luck and support in financial matters, as well as in social activity, it can help ease some of the problems Retrograde Mercury can produce, as well as it can support the benefits Retrograde Mercury gives.

Moreover, the Sun conjuncts Uranus. Accurately so, on the 9^th of May. The aspect, though, will be active from the 29^th of April and until the 20^th of May. Work and money matters receive some help from this conjunction. More so for jobs depending on the internet and technology. Online social activity, too, receives some help. Also, the aspect can help us achieve desired changes.

Mercury, too, conjuncts Uranus. Accurately so on the 4^th of June. Nonetheless, the aspect is active since the 9^th of April and it will remain active until the 6^th of May. Then again from the 26^th of May and until the 11^th of June. Although during the first period of its activity it won’t become accurate, it’s in a near-accurate peak during this New Moon and Solar Eclipse. Social life receives support from this aspect. More so when Mercury is Direct. Also, everything that depends on the internet, technology, communications and transportations also receives support. Travelling, too, but more so after the end of the Ecliptic Period.

Also, Mars forms a hexagon with Mercury. The aspect became accurate for the first time on the 8^th of April, when Mercury was Direct, and got activated on the 31^st of March. It will remain active until the 3^rd of May. During this fortnight it will become accurate again on the 24^th of April. Then Mercury will be Retrograde. Amongst else, this aspect can support social life and it can help with meeting new people. It can also boost our self-confidence and our self-motivation. Our mind can be clearer and faster, too. Not so much now that Mercury is Retrograde. Actually, make sure you won’t let your thoughts become hasty. Especially so when Mars, or Mercury receive stress from the Moon.

Moreover, Mars forms a hexagon with Uranus. Accurately so on the 29^th of April. The aspect is active since the 9^th of April and it will remain so until the 19^th of May. The 19^th of May will also be the New Moon that ends the Ecliptic Period. Therefore this aspect practically affects all the Ecliptic Period. As the influences of the Eclipses usually force us to change things and this aspect can help us decide and act upon changes, it can be very helpful. But, it can also make us a bit too hasty in making decisions, so watch out for this.

Additionally, Mars forms a triangle with Neptune. Accurately so, on the 15^th of May. The aspect will be active from the 27^th of April and until the 2^nd of June. By then, Mars will be in Leo. The Sun forms a hexagon with Saturn. Accurately so, on the 25^th of April. The aspect, though, is be active since the 15^th of April and it will remain active until the 6^th of May. Also, the Sun forms a hexagon with Mars. Accurately so, on the 22^nd of May, when the Sun will be in Gemini, and Mars will be in Leo. Finally, Mercury forms a hexagon with Saturn. The hexagon became accurate for the first time on the 5^th of April, when both planets were Direct. It got activated on the 31^st of March and paused its activity on the 16^th of April. Now, on the 26^th, it will be reactivated again, and it will remain active until the 2^nd of June. During this period, it will become accurate again another two times. The second time the aspect will be accurate will be on the 12^th of May, when Mercury will be Retrograde. The third time will be on the 19^th of May, when Mercury will have turned Direct again. Saturn will be Direct for the whole period. Obviously, while Mercury is Direct, this aspect is more beneficial.

Amongst else, this long-lasting hexagon strongly supports meditation and visualisation. Due to its rare long duration, it’s also a good period for learning such techniques and achieving a significant progress with them. This Solar Eclipse, although it’s relatively mild, it’s happening in your zodiac, even if just barely, so it won’t be too gentle for you.
