General Predictions for the New Moon in Aquarius:

On January the 21^st, at 20:54 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Aquarius, forming the New Moon. This New Moon is the first Super New Moon of 2023. It’s also the second of three consecutive Super New Moons, as the previous and the next one are also Super Moons. Furthermore, this is the beginning of the Rabbit Year. Keep in mind, though, that the zodiac of the Rabbit starts on the 4^th of February.

During the waxing Moon period, and no later than the day after the New Moon, the 22^nd of January, at 22:58 UT, Uranus turns Direct. By doing that, all planets will be direct. This is the only such period for 2023, but it’s a three months long one. It will last until the 21^st of April, when Mercury will turn Retrograde.

Furthermore, during this waxing Moon period, only Venus changes its zodiac, entering Pisces, on the 27^th of January.

The inauspicious aspects of the New Moon:

As Mercury’s and Uranus’ triangle opposes this aspect, this square’s effects are unlikely to be strong enough until the 2^nd of February, as until then Mercury’s triangle with Uranus will be affecting us more strongly.

The auspicious aspects of the New Moon:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is still affecting us, although not as strongly during this fortnight.
