General Predictions for the New Moon in Capricorn:

On December the 23^rd, at 10:18 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Capricorn, forming the New Moon. This New Moon is the second Super New Moon of 2022. The first one was actually the first New Moon of the year. Furthermore, it’s the first of three consecutive Super New Moons, as the following two New Moons will also be Super Moons.

During the waxing Moon period only Venus changes its zodiac, and only two days before the coming Full Moon, on the 4^th of January. Therefore, the planetary scenery doesn’t change much, but it did change significantly “just” before the New Moon.

The inauspicious aspects of the New Moon:

The Sun squares Jupiter. The aspect became accurate on the 22^nd of December, when Jupiter was in Aries and the Sun was in Capricorn. It’s active, though, since the 12^th of December, when the Sun was in Sagittarius and Jupiter was in Pisces. The square will remain active until the 2^nd of January. Amongst else, financial dealings as well as career and business matters receive some stress from this aspect. Depending on luck is also not advisable.

And this is practically the only long-term stressful aspect that is active during the fortnight.

The auspicious aspects of the New Moon:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is still significantly strong. As we’ve said, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24^th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs.

Now, it is slowly heading towards its weakest point of the period, but it will remain considerably strong even then. Indeed, the hexagon will barely cross the midpoint of the 5° from the 17^th of January and until the 24^th of February. Nonetheless, its maximum deviation will be just 5° 4’ from the 30^th of January and until the 12^th of February.

Amongst else, this hexagon empowers magic and helps us heal our souls, and our relationships. Physical healing, and especially via traditional methods, also receives some help. Progress in medicine and pharmacology, in a global level can receive support, too. More so now that Jupiter is, still, back in the game.

Indeed, Jupiter conjuncts Neptune, and forms a hexagon with Pluto. Neither of these aspects will become accurate again, though. In fact, Jupiter and Neptune’s conjunction won’t even reach the midpoint of the 5°. Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon, though, reached a peak of 2° 6’ on the 1^st of December. During this fortnight, on the 25^th of December it will cross the 3°, but it won’t reach the 5° until the 15^th of January, the same day Jupiter’s and Neptune’s conjunction will cease activity. Therefore, Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon is still accurate enough.

Therefore, Jupiter’s and Neptune’s conjunction will barely affect us, other than supporting Neptune’s and Pluto’s hexagon, but Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon will bless us significantly. Amongst else, this can promote progress in the medical and medicinal field, in a global level, while it can help financial affairs in a personal level. It (and both aspects, actually) can also strengthen magic.

Also, Venus conjuncts Mercury. The aspect has been affecting us since the 25^th of October, and it will continue doing so until the 4^th of January, 2023. The conjunction became accurate for the first time on the 21^st of November, when both planets were Direct and in Sagittarius. It will become accurate again on the 29^th of December, the day Mercury turns Retrograde, and a few hours after Mercury has turned Retrograde. Then, both planets will be in Capricorn. Moreover, since the 6^th of November the conjunction is at least quite strong, and it will remain so until the 1^st of January. That’s just three days before the end of this conjunction’s period of activity.

Amongst else, this aspect supports love life, social life, studies of all kinds – and more so health, beauty and art related ones – jobs and careers of all kinds – and more so of health, beauty, art and trade. Of course, it will be more beneficial while Mercury is still Direct, but this is practically the whole period other than the last seven days.

Keep in mind that not only this is a rare long lasting conjunction (and it’s also strong for the most part of its activity), but also, the next time the two planets will meet – the only time they’ll meet in 2023 – it will be for a very short-lived conjunction and, then, Venus will be Retrograde the whole time (other than the first day).

Similarly, the Sun conjuncts Mercury. Accurately so on the 7^th of January. The aspect, though, will be active from the 4^th of January and until the 11^th of the month. This is a helpful aspect, because, amongst else, it will calm down most of the problems Retrograde Mercury would produce, otherwise. Trade, which usually is challenged by the Retrograde Mercury, can actually have a not too easy going, but mostly good period.

Mercury forms a hexagon with Neptune. Accurately so on the 25^th of December. The aspect is active since the 16^th of December. It will remain so until the 10^th of January 2023. It will become accurate for a second time on the 2^nd of January, when Mercury will be Retrograde. Amongst else, this aspect strengthens magic and visualisation techniques. It’s also can also help emotional healing and social life. The latter, more so while Mercury is still Direct.

Similarly, Venus forms a hexagon with Neptune. This one will become accurate on the 28^th of December. It has been affecting us since the 20^th of the month and it will continue doing so until the 5^th of January. This hexagon can support love and social life, as well as emotional healing. It can also strengthen beautification and love magic.

Also the Sun will start forming a hexagon with Neptune. The aspect will become accurate on the 13^th of January. It will be active, though, from the 4^th of January and until the 23^rd of the month. Amongst else, this hexagon can bring some light in our emotions and help us better understand them and heal them. Our mood can be improved, too, but Pluto is very active, so some emotional support is advisable, regardless.

Also, Venus conjuncts Pluto. This aspect, too, started affecting us on the 20^th of December. It will remain active until the 9^th of January. It will become accurate on the 1^st of January. Mercury, too, conjuncts Pluto. This aspect won’t be won’t become accurate this time. Not even too strong. Nonetheless, it is active since the 20^th of December and it will remain active until the day of the Full Moon, the 6^th of January. Amongst else, this aspect empowers magic and benefits healing. While Mercury is Retrograde it’s a good period for reviewing and re-evaluating prescriptions, or seeking for a second opinion. At the same time, though, it won’t be a good period for making hurried decisions.

The aspect, though, will be active from the 27^th of December, while Venus will still be in Capricorn. It will remain active until the 13^th of January. Furthermore, Venus forms a triangle with Uranus. The aspect became accurate on the eve of this New Moon, on the 22^nd of December. It’s been active, though, since the 15^th of December and it will remain active until the 30^th of the month. This triangle can benefit all jobs and careers depending on the internet and technology, or related to health, beauty and the arts. It can also help social activity. More so, online one.

The Sun, too, forms a triangle with Uranus. Accurately so on the 5^th of January. The aspect will be active from the 28^th of December and until the 15^th of January. This triangle, too, can benefit jobs and careers depending on the internet and technology. It can also support advertisement both for the advertisers and for those being advertised.

Also, Venus forms a triangle with Mars. Accurately so on the 9^th of January, when Mars will still be Retrograde. The aspect will be active from the 3^rd of January and until the 17^th of the month. By then, Mars will be Direct again. Amongst else, this aspect can help love and social life. Exes, or people reminding us of exes might appear in our lives. These can be opportunities to heal the past, or to repeat the same mistakes, so be wise with whatever you decide. When Mars will be direct again, during the next fortnight, the aspect will be purely beneficial, but its power will be declining.

Last but not least, Mercury forms a triangle with Uranus. The triangle became accurate for the first time on the 17^th of December. Then, Uranus was Retrograde, while Mercury was Direct. The aspect is active since the 11^th of December and it will remain so until the 7^th of February. During this period it will become accurate a total of three times. For the second time on the 8^th of January, when both planets will be Retrograde. Then, for the third time on the 30^th of January, when both planets will be Direct.

Although this aspect is a beneficial and supportive one, it will be less so from the 29^th of December 2022 and until the 19^th of January 2023, as then both planets will be Retrograde. Similarly, it will be more beneficial and supportive from the 23^rd of January and until the end of its activity, as, then, both planets will be Direct.
