General Predictions for the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius:

On December the 4th, at 07:44 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Sagittarius, forming the New Moon. This New Moon is also a Super Moon and a Total Solar Eclipse. It will also be the last Eclipse happening on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis. From now on, all the Eclipses will happen on the Taurus-Scorpio axis.

The Solar Eclipse strongly, but beneficially, affects Mercury. It also, barely, stresses Neptune. As practically only one planet is affected by the Eclipse, it will be less intense than the Lunar one of the 19th of November, but it won’t be a calm one. Of course, Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces will experience it more strongly, than the Lunar one.

During the waxing fortnight, Mercury enters Capricorn, on the 13th of December, and, on the very same day, Mars enters Sagittarius. Therefore, the planetary focus on Sagittarius remains the same, but changes in nature, while the focus on Capricorn becomes stronger. Now, there are 3 planets in Capricorn, and they are going to become four, right after the Full Moon, on the Solstice. So, the planetary scenery, and balance, change significantly, but late in the fortnight.

Furthermore, although we’ve reached a minimum, for the period, retrograde activity, we might not experience this blessing during this fortnight. Neptune won’t regain its normal speed until after the end of the fortnight. Additionally, Chiron slows down, in order to turn back into direct motion on the day of the coming Full Moon. Venus, too, slows down as it will, too, turn Retrograde on the Full Moon’s day. Finally, even Mercury slows down a bit, but just a bit. It’s still moving fast, nonetheless, and it will continue moving fast until the end of the year. Therefore, retrograde activity seems stronger than it is.

The inauspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Saturn’s and Uranus’ square is now very strong. As we’ve said, it will become accurate for the third time this year on the 24th of December. This is a years-long aspect and it won’t completely cease affecting us until January 2023. Therefore, we comment on it when it’s strong enough.

Amongst else, this square gives us a sense, objective or not, of lack of freedom. It restricts us and makes us feel that changing the situations is quite hard, or even out of our hands. As the Eclipses forces us to act rapidly and be flexible, a strong such square can build up more tension in our lives. Therefore, during this period, we need to be as calm as possible. Dedicate some time on meditation, or other relaxation techniques, if possible.

On the day of the Lunar Eclipse, Mars started squaring Jupiter. The aspect will be active until the 27th of December and accurate on the 8th of December. Finally, the Sun, too, squares Neptune. Accurately so on the 12th of December. This square is active since the 2nd of December, also, but it will remain active until the 22nd. Emotional balance might be more difficult to maintain, under the influences of this square. Especially so as the Solar Eclipse slightly stresses Neptune, too.

The auspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is slowly getting weaker, but it still has enough strength. As we’ve said, this blessing will remain – at least – quite strong until the end of the year. Furthermore, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs.

From the 11th until the 13th (09:53 UT) of the month, when Mars will still be in Scorpio and the energies of the Eclipse will have calm down significantly, it will probably be the most promising time for harvesting those blessings of this aspect.

Furthermore, Mars forms a triangle with Neptune. The aspect became accurate on the 29th of November and is active since the 15th of November. It will remain active until the 14th of December. Amongst else, this triangle can help us expand our social circle. Some caution is advisable, because of the energies of the Eclipse. At the same time, though, these energies can boost the effects of this triangle.

Also, Mercury conjuncts the Sun. This aspect became accurate on the 29th of November, when both planets were in Sagittarius. Nonetheless, it has started affecting us on the 13th of November, when both planets were in Scorpio. The aspect will cease its activity on the 17th of December. By then, Mercury will be in Capricorn. Furthermore, Mercury is still in a hexagon with Saturn. The aspect became accurate on the 30th of November and started affecting us on the 24th of November. Furthermore, Venus conjuncts Pluto. Accurately so, for the first time, on the 11th of December. The aspect is active since the 23rd of November and it will remain so until the 13th of January, 2022. Then, again, from the 18th of February and until the 15th of March. Amongst else, this conjunction can support love life. Especially so for Taurus, Cancer, Capricorn and Virgo. During the whole December the aspect will be pretty strong, as it will become accurate again on the 25th.
