Mercury Retrograde is a phase we hate and love at the same time. Well, mostly hate – truth be told. It’s a phase when everything seems stuck. Emotional and intellectual stagnation is enough to push us to our limits. But that’s not always enough. Unexpected cancellations, failures and accidents are also part of the plan. No ordinary Retrograde Mercury
Because there are so many astrological alignments at the same time. This is no ordinary Mercury Retrograde. It begins in Gemini (May 10 – 22) when it starts to dance backwards. Later (May 22 – June 3) it will pass in Taurus. But during his retrograde course many things will change.
Mercury Retrograde: May 2022
- Mercury Retrograde’s Shadow first falls April 26th and is lifted June 18th. During this time, and only few days after the first shadow, Pluto goes retrograde!
- Almost the same day, a magical night occurs. Beltane’s eve along with the Black Moon – Solar Eclipse! This is no ordinary night. Not only we have a rare black moon, it also aligns with a Solar Eclipse which happens in the most magical night of the year. This is the night of Beltane’s eve. Not only for Pagans but for all occultists this is a night full of potentials. A night of true manifestation! Furthermore, on the same night, Jupiter aligns with Venus and Pluto turns retrograde!
- On May 10th, Mercury turns retrograde but also Jupiter enters Aries! An era of fiery expansion begins!

Predictions for Aries:
A peculiar era begins in your social circles and status and it will last till May 22. From this time and at least until the middle of June you will experience new energies in your finances, your possessions and your professional life.
