General Predictions for the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Scorpio:

On October the 25th, at 10:49 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Scorpio, forming the New Moon. This New Moon is also a Partial Solar Eclipse. This is the second and last Solar Eclipse of the 2022 and the first Eclipse of this Ecliptic Period. Furthermore, this is the last Solar Eclipse that happens on the Taurus-Scorpio axis. In fact, the next Solar Eclipse will happen in Aries, and it will finish 75 minutes before the Sun enters Taurus. Nonetheless, both Ecliptic Periods of 2023 will have their Lunar Eclipses in the Taurus-Scorpio axis.

The Solar Eclipse strongly, but beneficially, activates Venus, and this is the only planet it directly affects. Moreover, retrograde activity is not very strong. In fact, only 30% of the planets are Retrograde on the day of this Solar Eclipse, but they’ll become 40% from the 30th onwards. So, this is going to be a relatively gentle Eclipse. Mostly beneficial, too, although it might not feel this way right away.

Now, during the waxing Moon period, Jupiter returns in Pisces, on the 28th, while Mercury enters Scorpio on the 29th. By doing so, three planets will be in Scorpio, while half of the planets will be in the Water signs. More than half, when the Moon crosses a Water sign. Therefore, despite the Eclipse, this is a promising fortnight for Scorpio, Pisces and then, Cancer, in this order, but, probably, easier for Pisces, Cancer and then Scorpio.

Furthermore, on the 30th of October, on 13:26 UT, Mars, in Gemini, turns Retrograde, and it will remain Retrograde until the 12th of January, 2023. This can make things more tensed. More so while Mars is more stressed than not, which is the case for this fortnight, and it will remain the case until the middle December. Nonetheless, things won’t be as difficult as they were during Mars’ previous Retrograde period, in 2020.

The inauspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Saturn squares Uranus. This is a years-long aspect that keeps stressing us since 2020 and it will completely cease affecting us on the 24th of January 2023. Therefore, we only refer to it when it’s strong enough. On the 23rd of October its last peak came to an end, and now it’s getting weaker. Nonetheless, it’s still very strong, as its deviation is under the 2° throughout the fortnight.

Amongst else, this square reduces our freedom and sense of freedom. It makes achieving changes much more challenging. It can also give us the feeling that achieving those is out of our hands. Now that Saturn has turned Direct, and the square has started getting weaker, things should feel better than up until recently. Moreover, Saturn has been forming more auspicious aspects than stressful ones for some time now, and it will continue doing so for most of the remaining period of this square’s activity. During this fortnight, though, and even more so during the waning one, this won’t be the case. In fact, the coming Lunar Eclipse will stress both planets and the square quite strongly. Therefore, although things should be getting better from now on, for these two fortnights it might not feel so.

Also, the Sun is still in a square with Pluto. The square became accurate on the 19th of October, and it started affecting us on the 10th of the month. It will remain active until the 29th of October. Amongst else, this aspect can bring some stress in financial matters. It can also challenge our emotional well being.

Venus, too, squares Pluto. This one became accurate on the 20th of October, and it started affecting us on the 13th of the month. It will cease activity on the 28th of of October. This aspect, too, can stress our emotional health and condition. It can also challenge love life and all our personal relationships.

Similarly, Mercury squares Pluto. Accurately so on the 27th of October. The aspect is active since the 22nd of October and it will remain so until the 2nd of November. Health issues need some extra care under the influences of this aspect. Emotional health, too, of course.

Also, Venus opposes Uranus. Accurately so on the 5th of November. The aspect will be active from the 30th of October and until the 13th of November. Amongst else, this aspect can bring some tension in our love and social life. Work related social activity, online one, as well as all jobs related to technology, beauty and the arts receive these energies more clearly.

Moreover, Venus squares Saturn. Accurately so on the 7th of November. The square will be active from the 31st of October and until the 15th of November. Amongst else, love life receives stress from this aspect. Also, health needs some extra care. Careers of artistic nature can face some extra difficulties, too.

Also, Mercury opposes Uranus. Accurately so on the 9th of November. The aspect will be active from the 4th of November and until the 15th of November. Although this aspect is short lived, because both Mercury and Uranus are strongly affected by the coming Lunar Eclipse, not only it will be more intense than normal, but we might also feel its influences throughout this whole fortnight, and the whole coming one. Online jobs and social activity receive some stress from this aspect. Also, existing high-tech equipment might act oddly, or need repairs, or replacement. At the same time, if it’s not necessary, avoid purchasing new such equipment.

The Sun, too, opposes Uranus. Accurately so on the 9th of November. This opposition will be active from the 31st of October and until the 18th of November. Once again, as both planets will be strongly affected by the coming Lunar Eclipse, this aspect will be more intense than normal, and we might feel its influences during both the whole this and the whole coming fortnight. Jobs and career depending on the internet, or technology receive some stress from this aspect. Also, purchasing computers, smartphones and other high-tech equipment is not advisable, if not necessary.

Mercury squares Saturn. Accurately so on the 10th of November. The square will be active from the 5th of November and until the 16th of November. Health need some extra care under the influences of this aspect. Also, social life can be challenged. A more careful handling of the situations is advisable. Also, trade and the like can face some extra difficulties.

Similarly, the Sun, too, squares Saturn. This square will become accurate on the 11th of November. The aspect, though, will be active from the 1st of November and until the 21st of the month. Financial matters need a wiser handling, under the influences of this aspect. Avoid any big expenses, or risky investments as much as possible. Be as wise and careful as possible with what you can’t avoid.

Finally, Mars squares Neptune. The aspect became accurate for the first time on the 12th of October, when Mars was Direct and Neptune was Retrograde. The aspect is active since the 17th of September, and it will remain active until the 17th of December. It will become accurate again on the 19th of November, when both planets will be Retrograde. This is a challenging aspect for our emotional condition. Our rational thinking can be clouded by our emotions, too. Therefore, all important decisions need a more careful and thorough consideration, while our emotional condition needs support.

On the bright side, Mars’ triangle with Saturn, which will be active until after this square ceases activity, will help us with emotional healing and it will give us a clearer mind. More so while the Grand Triangle of Mercury, Mars and Saturn will be active, which is until the 28th of October.

The auspicious aspects of the Solar Eclipse:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is still quite strong. As we’ve said, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs.

For this year, though, on the 25th of March the hexagon crossed the midpoint of the 5° deviation, becoming quite strong and it will remain so until the 17th of January 2023, when it will, once again cross the 5°, but, then, while it will be becoming weaker. On the 21st of October, though, it stopped being accurate enough as it crossed the 3°. It won’t cross the 4°, though, until three days after the next New Moon, the 26th of November.

Amongst else, this hexagon empowers magic and helps us heal our souls, and our relationships. Physical healing, and especially via traditional methods, also receives some help. Progress in medicine and pharmacology, in a global level can receive support, too. More so now that Jupiter is back in the game.

Indeed, Jupiter conjuncts Neptune, and forms a hexagon with Pluto. Neither of these aspects will become accurate again, though. In fact, Jupiter and Neptune’s conjunction won’t even reach the midpoint of the 5°. Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon, though, has already crossed that point, and it will even cross the 3° during this fortnight, on the 6th of November. It will eventually reach a peak of 2° 6’ on the 1st of December.

Therefore, Jupiter’s and Neptune’s conjunction will barely affect us, other than supporting Neptune’s and Pluto’s hexagon, but Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon will bless us significantly. Amongst else, this can promote progress in the medical and medicinal field, in a global level, while it can help financial affairs in a personal level. It (and both aspects, actually) can also strengthen magic.

The Sun is still in a triangle with Mars. The aspect is active since the 5th of October and it will remain active until the 29th of the month. It became accurate on the 17th of October. Of course, Mercury forms a triangle with Mars, too. The aspect will become accurate on the 27th of October. It is active since the 21st of October and it will remain so until the 2nd of November. By then Mars will be Retrograde. Despite that, this aspect can promote social life and professional social activity. Trade and all jobs and tasks depending on good communication also receive support.

Also, the Sun conjuncts Venus. The conjunction became accurate on the 22nd of October, when both planets were in Libra. It has been affecting us since the 17th of September, when both planets were in Virgo, and it will continue doing so until the 2nd of December, when both planet will be in Sagittarius. This conjunction can bring some help to love life, social life, financial matters and also, to jobs related to health, beautification and the arts.

Similarly, the Sun conjuncts Mercury. Accurately so on the day of the coming Lunar Eclipse – the 8th of November – and under the influences of the Lunar Eclipse. The aspect will be active from the day of this Solar Eclipse and until the 26th of November. Amongst else, this conjunction can help trade and all jobs depending on transportations and communications. It can also support social life.

Also, Venus forms a triangle with Neptune. Accurately so on the 10th of November. The aspect will be active from the 3rd of November and until the 18th of the month. This is quite a helpful aspect, especially because Venus is charged both by this Solar Eclipse and the coming Lunar Eclipse, so some tension is unavoidable in our personal relationships, but this triangle can help us heal them.

The Sun, too, forms a triangle with Neptune. Accurately so on the 15th of November. The aspect will be active from the 6th of November and until the 25th of the month. Overall, this is a relatively gentle Solar Eclipse as it doesn’t activates many planets. Just Venus and in a beneficial way. Nonetheless, the sky is not calm. There are a lot active aspects. On the bright side the beneficial ones are practically as many as the stressful ones. Therefore, things are challenging, but not bad. On the other hand, retrograde activity rises again, with Mars turning Retrograde, and it will remain on that level until the end of the Ecliptic Period. Strong Retrograde activity is a difficult combination with the Eclipses, as the latter urges us to take action, while the former advices, or forces us to act more cautiously and more slowly.
