Ritual for Full Moon in Leo

Materials Needed:

– A quiet, comfortable space

– A candle

– Incense or sage for smudging

– A bowl of water

– A piece of paper and a pen

Steps:

1. Cleanse your space physically and energetically. You can do this by tidying up and then smudging with sage or incense. 

2. Light your candle and sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Set your intention for the ritual. It could be something like “I am here to honour the full moon in Leo and to reflect on my personal growth.”

3. Call upon your spirit guides, ancestors, or any higher power you believe in. Ask them to guide and protect you during this ritual.

4. Hold the bowl of water in your hands. Imagine the energy of the full moon in Leo filling the water. Say a blessing over the water such as, “May this water be infused with the courage, creativity, and warmth of Leo.”. If you can, leave the water in moonlight overnight then put some in a dark glass bottle and use a few drops to activate your water and other drinks with the essence of this fiery super creative Moon, over the days ahead.

5. Now, take your piece of paper and pen. Reflect on the following questions and write down your answers:

    – How have I been expressing my unique self and creativity?

    – Where can I show more courage in my life?

    – How can I better balance my personal desires with the needs of others?

    – What am I most proud of since the last full moon?

6. After you’ve finished writing, read your answers out loud. Then, safely burn the paper in the flame of the candle, releasing your words to the universe and telling the universe that you are open to receiving the magic and synchronicities that are meant for you.

7. Thank your spirit guides, ancestors, or higher power for their guidance and protection. Thank the full moon in Leo for its energy.

8. Extinguish the candle and dispose of the ashes of the paper safely. The ritual is now complete.

The Dance of the Cosmos: The New Moon in Aquarius Meets the Chinese Year of the Wood Snake – January 29^th 2025. As the frost of January begins to thaw the New Moon in Aquarius ushers in the Chinese New Year of the Wood Snake on January 29^th at 12.35 gmt. A powerful cosmic symphony of change, growth, and innovation is arriving. The zodiac’s visionary, urges us to break free from the shackles of tradition and embrace the winds of change. We’re being called to explore uncharted territories, foster unique perspectives, and challenge the status quo.

When the Moon meets the Sun in the home of the cosmic rebel, the innovator, the one who pours out visions of a brighter future, it creates a canvas for humanity’s most audacious dreams. There’s no room for small plans or timid steps. Aquarius demands: ‘What new world do we wish to build?’

This Pluto empowered Water Bearer is the new director, urging us to collaborate on a visionary script. Jupiter is the enthusiastic producer, bankrolling bold ideas. Neptune, Venus, and the North Node are the ethereal set designers, draping the stage in rose-gold light. Mercury and Pluto? They’re the critics in the front row, demanding the performance be ‘real’.

2025 will be the great year of transformation and re-birth, both on a personal and societal level. All the outer planets shift from Earth and Water houses into Fire and Air signs – settling into their new homes fully by 2026.  Life will get faster and lighter. Sacred Waters: Navigating the Cancer Full Moon January 13th 2025. As we step into the sacred weave of 2025, our first Full Moon is a water-logged affair.  Peaking in Cancer on January 13th at 22:27 GMT it beckons us to explore the depths of our emotional wisdom and inner truth. As the Cancer Moon stands in opposition to the Capricorn Sun, we witness the eternal dance between our inner sanctuary and worldly ambitions, between the sacred refuge of home and the commanding peaks of achievement.  

As the mountain goat ascends, to find his balance, he dips his mermaid’s tale into Cancer’s emotional depths to know his true “Why?” – That’s the quest for this full Moon: “Why?” Why are you feeling what you’re feeling? Why do you want what you want? Why are you not being true to yourself? Why? Why? Why? Embraced with a willingness to grow this Moon delivers major breakthroughs.

With five planets immersed in water signs and Neptune embracing the North Node there is an opportunity for emotional alignment and profound spiritual awakening. At the very least a powerful burst of feeling comes with this culminating Moon. Neptune’s desire for totality whilst willing to be tender and vulnerable is a cosmic balm under current stormy skies.
