On April the 6th, at 04:34 UT, the Moon, from Libra, accurately opposes the Sun, in Aries, forming the Full Moon. This Full Moon is also known as the Pink Moon. This Full Moon is also the beginning of the Ecliptic Period, for the coming New Moon will be a Total Solar Eclipse.

During this waning Moon period, only Venus changes its zodiac, on the 11th of April, entering Gemini. Moreover, Mercury, which has just entered Taurus, slows down a lot, as it’s going to turn Retrograde the day after the coming New Moon. Pluto, too, slows down. Noticeably so, now.

Keep in mind, though, that the Eclipse will happen in Aries, while the square will become accurate little after the Sun will have entered Taurus. In any case, the aspect will be active from the 11th of April and until the 30th of the month. Amongst else, this square can stress financial matters

Finally, Jupiter squares Pluto. Accurately so the 18th of May, when Jupiter will be in Taurus and Pluto will be Retrograde. The Era Of Aquarius is truly here! 

And we meant it. In the last year Jupiter in Pisces brought a chance to re-connect with the world’s most important qualities. Compassion and cosmic awareness. Later, Jupiter in Aries made us all realize the pain that war and global conflict can bring. But unfortunately, things are not over yet. Jupiter will insist giving us war lessons till May 2023 when he will enter Taurus, bringing hope for abundance and stability.

New Moon in Capricorn December 23rd 2022 – Completion and New Beginnings

New Moon in Capricorn: Hot on the heels of the seasonal solstice our last new moon of 2022 arrives December 23rd at 1.32 degrees Capricorn at 10.16BST.  A supermoon (closest to Earth) and the second of five new moons on the creatrix degree produces a powerful push forward into 2023.  Before we respond to the clarion call of the new, we need to ask ourselves what do we still need to complete. It’s our goat’s mythological mermaid’s tail that carries the answers to this completion.  Dive into the depths and reflect on the past year.  Where are you still feeling triggered by people, events, your actions or inactions?

Square to wounded healer Chiron, stationed direct in Aries, this holiday season offers the opportunity for deep family healings.  This may be the first time you’ve gathered round the festive table since the pandemic created untold mayhem, division and judgment amongst our relatives.  Maybe those disagreements still exist. Rather than scratching old scabs creating lifetime scars can we find compassion, forgiveness and common ground? 

Last New Moon of the Year

Squares can be gnarly and cantankerous as they demand action. To find peace we need to embrace our wounds fully.  Where are you hurting? Where have you hurt others? Where have others hurt you? Who do you need to forgive? Where do you need to kiss and make up?  Do the hard work, bury thosefamily hatchets to find joyous celebration in the aftermath.

We’re turning the page on a healing journey that began mid 2021. Healing takes time. It can’t be rushed despite Aries impatience. We’re learning to be gentle with our deep wounding.  Understanding it and making new commitments to ourselves going forward. There is a sense of relief. That old wound doesn’t hurt quite as much. It remains tender but we intrinsically know the crest of the crisis has passed.  With Mars retrograde in Gemini, trining Chiron the story continues to re-write itself through January and February. But we can sense we’re close to the last chapter.

This Capricorn season invites us to finalise the puzzle of our being. We’re moving through layers of old programming to our true calling.  Old goals seem pointless and new ones are emerging.  Listen to what is resonating with your inner being.  What was once important may no longer be so.  The collective GPS is pointing firmly in the direction of our North Node of destiny.

Lord Saturn, Planet of Witches

Grand master Saturn, rules our mountain goat.  Father of Karma, his motto is; “what we sow, we reap”.  Not just actions but thoughts, intent, energy, frequency. He has been on our case all year in an endless battle with Maverick Uranus.  Uranus constantly disrupts the structures that Saturn builds.  The inconsistencies and shocking surprises have been wearing for all.  We’re finally moving out of this cycle. The great shake down is done.  Re-assess what’s remaining and what you’re taking forward.  The shift is from top down to grass roots or from hierarchy to synarchy.  It will take time. But this frequency of the new movement has already begun as collectively we shift from South Node karma to our North Node dharma.

Be wary of the shadow of stern Saturn.  You’ll recognise the signs feeling disconnected, wrung out, overworked and shouldering too much. It can feel heavy especially in the holiday season. Learn the art of delegation. Saturn in Aquarius brings elders, guides, mentors and authority figures that can show us the way.  Aquarius suffers information overwhelm.  Reach out and ask the experts for what you need solving or fixing.

Ties and attachments

Saturn in Aquarius also reveals the ties we have to other people. It clarifies whether the group, alliance, community we’re involved with is true for our future.  Where you’ve been invested might not be where your internal compass wants to continue.  Saturn demands you get your ducks in a row to achieve your aims in 2023. What’s the plan that will take youfrom the Solstice to March equinox?  We feel better when we follow through on our inner disciplines despite our urge to rebel. What new structures do you need to implement and what ones are best eliminated? It requires a Saturnian attitude to use our shortest words ‘yes’ and ‘no’ with aplomb.  Acting with integrity, without fear, takes courage. The results are inner peace and regained energy.

Stay focussed on the goodness in the world whilst the powers that be bombard us with warring narrative and terrorism in all its forms. In the wise words of Leonard Cohen “There is a crack, a crack in everything.  That’s where the light gets in”.   Hold the faith.  Believe in better.

Mercury is bringing a shift of perspective on what we’ve lived through individually and collectively over the last three years.  As it enters its shadow preparing to retrograde on the 29th it gives time for this considered review. The fear machine is on overdrive as we near the tipping point. Despite appearances to the contrary, we’re in the evolutionary shift our ancestors foresaw. Stay focussed on the frequency of heaven on Earth. The antidote is not to fight, so old programme, instead create a tsunami of love. Get your house in order, complete the year well and know where you’re headed in 2023. The bigger celestial picture is positive. December Solstice 2022: On December 21st at 21.47 BST the sun enters Capricorn signalling the seasonal Solstice.  A pivot point in the cosmic calendar. In the Northern hemisphere it heralds the return of the light, a rebirth. In the Southern hemisphere it is a celebration of the culmination of light before the descent into darkness.  In whichever hemisphere you find yourself this pivoting of the light offers us a sacred pause.  (The Latin root of solstice means ‘to stand still’).  It is a threshold moment.  A liminal space. A chance to reflect and release the old from 2022 and set delicious new intentions for 2023.

Our forebears were essentially farmers. How the cycles of nature effected the growing of crops was a matter of life and death and therefore of prime importance.  They invested considerable faith into the abilities of the local shaman to petition the Spirit world on their behalf to ensure good harvests in the coming season.

Shamanic cultures across the globe have celebrated the seasonal Solstice since the dawn of time in myriad ways The Celtic shamans would light giant bonfires on hilltops, as a symbol of keeping the darkness at bay.  For the Hopi this was the time when stories from the elders were passed on to the children to teach them important life lessons. The prayers and rituals surrounding this helped the Hopi to turn the sun toward its summer home and begin empowering the Earth for the new growing season ahead.  Rather than staying up all night to celebrate the dawn, the Iroquois celebrated by turning in early, to sleep and dream.  At sunrise the entire tribe would gather and each would relate the visions they saw on this special night.  Pay attention to your dreams on Solstice night they may be offering you a vision of your future.

What Shamans do

Shamanic wisdom can assist us with our everyday challenges such as those stressful aspects associated with the upcoming festive season.  Indigenous shamanic cultures believe that everything is alive and contains a Spirit which connects everything to everything in the all-encompassing web of life. We are in co-operative collaboration with all of life as we too have a Spirit and we too are integrally connected to all that is.  Instead of falling into old patterns over the holiday see it as a sacred invitation to know yourself better. Realizing that all the triggers of your relationship dynamics are simply reflections of some unconscious, unacknowledged aspects of self.  Thus, we are able to find compassion, forgiveness and love and are able to release judgment and anger.  Quantum physicists have reached the same conclusion that everything is connected to everything. Although they use terms other than Spirit to explain it!  Finding it hard to find compassion for a particular person or situation? Visualise placing symbols of love and forgiveness into the invisible, but all pervasive, morphic field between you and them.

Ritual for December Solstice 2022 – Creating a Prayer Tree

Celebrate the Solstice using this adaptation of a Siberian shamanic ritual for creating a prayer tree. In Siberia, and other shamanic cultures, trees are regarded as sacred. They symbolise the three worlds of heaven with their leaves, the human realm with their trunk and Mother Earth with their roots. They are seen as the conduit between Heaven and Earth and are special places for prayer. Unusual or isolated trees were considered especially powerful.

If you don’t have a tree that you could use you can find a tree branch and plant it in a pot at home. On the Solstice gather family and friends or you can work alone.  Firstly, invoke the Spirit of the tree by saying a prayer and making some traditional offering such as corn, seeds, stones, flowers, tobacco, spring water and incense at the base of the tree or pot.

If you know a suitable song or even a Christmas carol sing it to the tree or play the drum, ring a bell or clap round the tree in honour of its Spirit and living presence, asking the tree to carry your prayers to heaven and bring them into manifestation back down on earth – listen carefully and perhaps you will even hear the trees response.

Once the tree has been empowered each person takes a coloured ribbon and blows their prayers, hopes and dreams into it for the coming cycle. These ribbons are then tied on the branches of the trees.  Take time with your prayers and become the prayer in the moment of blowing it into the ribbon. You can do as many prayer ribbons as you wish. The only limits in this Universe are those we impose upon ourselves.  Include prayers for your family, your community and the larger world.

NB If you are using a living tree, please tie the ribbons LOOSELY. Remember the tree is still growing.

To complete the ritual, dance around the tree together or sing a collective song to the tree.  You can return and add prayers and make offerings anytime you choose.

Whilst your ribbons hang, they are empowered by the elements. The prayers they hold are carried far by the winds, energized by sun and starlight, animated by rain and snow and revitalised by the Earth.

The Moon peaks on December 8th at 4.07am BST in mutable Gemini at 16 degrees.  Our cosmic twins are forcing us to flex and twist with the winds of change whilst simultaneously insisting we make clear choices.  Chaos can ensue if we don’t tread mindfully.  Remember Gemini also likes to play – with words, ideas, facts, fiction, creative expression.  Keep it light as this lunation forces you to dance the cosmic tango.

The Forces of the Moon

Full moons bring completion. This one feels like everything is coming to a head. Literally, as our minds ping from one thought to another in our desperate attempts to know truth, clarity, the right decisions to make.  Our programming doesn’t help. We are conditioned to believe there is a right way and a wrong way.  There is only the way that’s right for you.

The moon is exactly conjunct our warrior planet, Mars, which is currently on an extensive retrograde vacation in Gemini.  Mars and Moon together can aggravate our emotional body. Mars wants to take action now. The Moon wants to ponder how it feels.  In the mutable energy of the twins this creates a mental maelstrom that can spill over fast and furiously.  The danger here is to say something that you regret and cannot retract.

Full Moon Ritual for Gemini 2022

Gemini brings up our duality.  It’s all about choice points. Do I go this way? Or perhaps that? This can get messy if we’re not clear or are being influenced from external aspects. The following ritual is a great way to get internal clarity on the right decision/s for you. This works particularly well if you need to choose between two options.

Create your sacred space and spend time relaxing and using your breath to deepen into meditation.

Close your eyes and see yourself in a corridor.  At the end of the corridor are two doors.  On each door pin your choices, one on each door.  Now take the left-hand door.  Focus on it fully.  What colour is it? What shape? What is it made of? What kind of handle does it have.  Fully focus on the door and the choice pinned to it.  Now you are going to count down from 5 to 1 in your mind.  When you get to 1 the door will open and you will step through finding yourself 1 year from having made the choice pinned to the door.  Feel what you feel, hear what you hear, see what you see and notice what you notice.  Spend time looking around and exploring this world one year after making this choice.  Who are you with? How are you feeling? When you feel done come back out into the corridor closing the door behind you.  Open your eyes and give your body a little shake to clear the screen.  Now close your eyes again and find yourself back in the corridor and repeat this process for the right-hand door and the choice you pinned there.

It’s probably official. Everything that is related with the Era of Pisces fades away. Era of Pisces was marked by the dominion of Abrahamic Religions, including Christianity. Especially Christianity was linked with the Era of Pisces (Fishes). As your probably know, the very first symbol of Jesus was the Fish. Actually a greek abbreviation meaning Jesus Christ God’s Son Savior (ΙΧΘΥΣ – Ιησούς Χριστός Θεού Ιός Σωτήρας).

So, the compulsory British census concluded with major changes from 10 years ago. These shocking results in just 10 years actually predict a faster decline in strong religious systems as the years go by. For the first time in England and Wales, after the conquest of Christianity over the Old religion in British Isles, less than half of the population (46.2%, 27.5 million people) described themselves as “Christian”, a 13.1 percentage point decrease from 59.3% (33.3 million) in 2011. Despite this decrease, “Christian” remained the most common response to the religion question.

Shamanism is rising!

What happened to the rest of the Population? “No religion” was the second most common response, increasing by 12.0 percentage points to 37.2% (22.2 million) from 25.2% (14.1 million) in 2011. Of course no Religion includes spirituality and other eclectic practices like Solitary Witches and Spiritualists of the New Age. The largest increase was seen in those describing their religion as “Shamanism”, increasing more than tenfold to 8,000 from 650 in 2011.

Shamanism in many ways is an old ‘religion’ but also very new as it calls the practitioner to connect with everything. Just like Aquarius, a shaman is linked with all energies and life forms. This is probably why the energy of Aquarius revives this religion – again!

General Predictions for the New Moon in Sagittarius:

On November the 23rd, at 22:57 UT, the Moon meets the Sun, in Sagittarius, forming the New Moon. This New Moon also signifies the end of the Ecliptic Period.

The Sun has changed its zodiac on the eve of this New Moon, while during this waxing Moon period, two days before the coming Full Moon, on the 6th of December, Mercury enters Capricorn, where it will remain for the rest of the year. This is the only change of planetary position that happens. Nonetheless, on the very day of this New Moon, Jupiter turns Direct, at 23:02 UT. Later, on the 4th of December, at 00:15 UT, Neptune also turns Direct.

Therefore, the planetary scenery doesn’t change much, but it changes significantly as is reduced.

The inauspicious aspects of the New Moon:

Saturn squares Uranus. This is a years-long aspect that keeps stressing us since 2020 and it will completely cease affecting us on the 24th of January 2023. Therefore, we only refer to it when it’s strong enough. On the 23rd of October its last peak came to an end, and it started getting weaker. Nonetheless, it remained very strong until now. On top of that both planets have been receiving much additional stress from other planets recently, and they were even stressed strongly by the Lunar Eclipse.

The additional stress on Uranus ended on the 18th of November, while the additional stress on Saturn ended on the 21st of the month. Finally, on the day of this New Moon, the stress from the Eclipse ends, too. Moreover, on the day of this New Moon the square crosses the 3° becoming quite strong, and it will remain so during the whole fortnight. By the next New Moon, though, it will have already crossed the 6° and, therefore, from then on, it will be weak enough to not affect us noticeably.

Amongst else, this square reduces our freedom and sense of freedom. It makes achieving changes much more challenging. It can also give us the feeling that achieving those is out of our hands. Now that the square is not as strong, while Saturn, once again, will start forming mostly auspicious aspects, and quite a few of them, things should feel significantly easier than up until recently.

Also, Mercury squares Neptune. Accurately so on the 2nd of December. The aspect will be active from the 26th of November and until the Full Moon of the 8th of December. Our rational thinking can be easily clouded by our emotions under the influences of this aspect. Also, our emotional condition needs some support.

Similarly, Venus squares Neptune. This square will become accurate on the 4th of December. The aspect will be active from the 27th of November and until the 12th of December. All our personal relationships receive some stress from this aspect. Our emotional health and condition, too.

Also, the Sun squares Neptune. Accurately so on the 14th of December. The aspect will be active from the 5th of December and until the 24th of the month. This aspect, too, can challenge our emotional condition, our relationships and our mental clarity.

Mercury squares Jupiter. Accurately so on the 6th of December. The aspect will be active from the 30th of November and until the 13th of December. Trade and all jobs depending on communications, or transportations receive some extra stress from this aspect. Also travelling can be more challenging than you expect.

Also, Venus squares Jupiter. Accurately so on the 9th of December. The aspect will be active from the 2nd of December and until the 17th of the month. Love and social life receive some stress from this aspect. Also, jobs related to art, beauty and health can face some extra challenges.

Mercury opposes Mars. Accurately so on the 29th of November. The aspect will be active from the 25th of November and until the 5th of December. Amongst else, this aspect can bring some stress and tension in our social life and all communications. Also, driving more carefully is strongly advisable under the influences of this aspect.

Similarly, Venus opposes Mars. Accurately so on the 1st of December. This opposition will be active from the 26th of November and until the 7th of December. Love life receives some tension from this aspect. Handling the situations more calmly can help avoid unnecessary trouble. Also, health needs some better care. Especially so on the day of this aspect’s peak, as the Moon will be squaring both Venus and Mars on that day.

Moreover, the Sun, too, opposes Mars. Accurately so on the day of the coming Full Moon, the 8th of December. The aspect will be active from the 2nd of December and until the 15th of the month. Amongst else, this opposition asks for some more attention in all financial affairs and dealings. Also some extra tension in all our interpersonal interactions might occur.

Finally, Mars squares Neptune. The aspect became accurate for the first time on the 12th of October, when Mars was Direct and Neptune was Retrograde, and it’s active since the 17th of September. It will remain active until the 17th of December. The square become accurate for a second time on the 19th of November, when both planets were be Retrograde. This is a challenging aspect for our emotional condition. Our rational thinking can be clouded by our emotions, too. Therefore, all important decisions need a more careful and thorough consideration, while our emotional condition needs support. On the bright side, Mars’ triangle with Saturn, which will be active until after this square ceases activity, will help us with emotional healing and it will give us a clearer mind.

The auspicious aspects of the New Moon:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is still significantly strong. As we’ve said, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs.

For this year, though, on the 25th of March the hexagon crossed the midpoint of the 5° deviation, becoming quite strong and it will remain so until the 17th of January 2023, when it will, once again cross the 5°, but, then, while it will be becoming weaker. On the 21st of October, though, it stopped being accurate enough as it crossed the 3°, while on the 26th of November it will cross the 4°, though, until three days after the next New Moon, that is on the 26th of November.

Amongst else, this hexagon empowers magic and helps us heal our souls, and our relationships. Physical healing, and especially via traditional methods, also receives some help. Progress in medicine and pharmacology, in a global level can receive support, too. More so now that Jupiter is back in the game.

Indeed, Jupiter conjuncts Neptune, and forms a hexagon with Pluto. Neither of these aspects will become accurate again, though. In fact, Jupiter and Neptune’s conjunction won’t even reach the midpoint of the 5°. Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon, though, has already crossed the 3°, on the 6th of November, becoming quite strong. It will eventually reach a peak of 2° 6’ during this fortnight, on the 1st of December. Thus, now, it’s accurate enough.

Therefore, Jupiter’s and Neptune’s conjunction will barely affect us, other than supporting Neptune’s and Pluto’s hexagon, but Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon will bless us significantly. Amongst else, this can promote progress in the medical and medicinal field, in a global level, while it can help financial affairs in a personal level. It (and both aspects, actually) can also strengthen magic.

The Sun conjuncts Venus. The conjunction became accurate on the 22nd of October, when both planets were in Libra. It has been affecting us since the 17th of September, when both planets were in Virgo, and it will continue doing so until the 2nd of December, when both planet will be in Sagittarius. This conjunction can bring some help to love life, social life, financial matters and also, to jobs related to health, beautification and the arts.

Also, Venus conjuncts Mercury. The aspect has been affecting us since the 25th of October, and it will continue doing so until the 4th of January, 2023. The conjunction became accurate for the first time on the 21st of November, when both planets were Direct and in Sagittarius. It will become accurate again on the 29th of December, the day Mercury turns Retrograde, and a few hours after Mercury has turned Retrograde. Then, both planets will be in Capricorn.

On the 6th of November, the conjunction crossed the 5°, as it closes up, and it won’t cross again the 5° until the 11th of December. Nonetheless, it won’t deviate much farther, and then, from the 24th of December and until the 1st of January, its deviation will, once again, be under the 5° Therefore, from the 6th of November and until just three days before the end of this conjunction’s period of activity it will be, at the very least, significantly strong.

Amongst else, this aspect supports love life, social life, studies of all kinds – and more so health, beauty and art related ones – jobs and careers of all kinds – and more so of health, beauty, art and trade. Of course, it will be more beneficial while Mercury is still Direct, but this is practically the whole period other than the last seven days.

Keep in mind that not only this is a rare long lasting conjunction (and it’s also strong for the most part of its activity), but also, the next time the two planets will meet – the only time they’ll meet in 2023 – it will be for a very short-lived conjunction and, then, Venus will be Retrograde the whole time (other than the first day).

The Sun is still in a triangle with Jupiter. The aspect became accurate on the 21st of November, and started affecting us on the 12th of November. It will remain active until the 1st of December. The two Lucky Stars harmoniously cooperating is always a good sign. Amongst else, it can help with work and career matters, financial ones and, also, with whatever has to do with foreign countries and people from foreign countries.

Mercury forms a hexagon with Saturn. Accurately so on the 30th of November. The aspect will be active from the 24th of November and until the 6th of December. This aspect is a very helpful one as it can help our mental clarity, which is strongly challenged, right now. To make the best use of this blessing, make your important decisions after calming down and examining thoroughly the situations. Furthermore, it boosts meditative techniques for all purposes and even more so for healing ones.

Venus, too, forms a hexagon with Saturn. This one will become accurate on the 2nd of December. The aspect will be active from the 24th of November and until the 10th of December. This hexagon, too, helps healing and meditation. The latter not as much as Mercury’s hexagon. It can also help us – if we act calmly and carefully – heal our personal relationships.

Furthermore, the Sun forms a hexagon with Saturn, as well. Accurately so on the 12th of December. The aspect will be active from the 3rd of December and until the 23rd of the month. This hexagon, too can help our mental clarity. The effect will become more obvious during the next fortnight, when this aspect will be at its peak, while the aspects that challenge our mental clarity will be becoming weaker. Furthermore, it can boost meditative techniques for all purposes. Wish fulfilling magic, too receives some support from this aspect.

Last but not least, Mars forms a triangle with Saturn. The triangle is active since the 8th of September and it will remain active until the Solstice of the 21st of December. It became accurate for the first time on the 28th of September. It will become accurate again during this fortnight, on the 28th of November. Then, Saturn will be Direct, but Mars will be Retrograde. This is a very beneficial aspect as we’ve seen on the Retrograde Saturn’s article.

Summarising:

Overall, this is a quite challenging New Moon and waxing Moon period. But it will be the last such fortnight of this year. The remaining one and a half ones will be significantly better. On the negatives, the stressful aspects are more than the supportive ones. Also, Mars and Neptune are strongly stressed, which can make us – and the people around us – more impatient and “ready” for quarrels, while our emotional condition and mental clarity are not in a good condition. Supporting our mood and maintaining our optimism and calm can help us reduce, or even avoid, many of the problems this fortnight can bring.

On the bright side, though, the effects of the Ecliptic period and, more importantly, of the very challenging Lunar Eclipse have ended. Similarly, the additional stress on Saturn and Uranus has ended. At the same time, Saturn’s and Uranus’ square becomes weaker, while Saturn receives much support. Therefore, although this isn’t an easy fortnight, we might actually experience it as easier than the previous two.

Regardless the challenges, do your best to make the best of this fortnight. Also, make any necessary preparations for the near future as the coming fortnight and, more so, the second half of it, will be a quite supportive period. Keep in mind, that the period after the next New Moon, although mostly beneficial, it will have a Retrograde Mercury. New Moon November 23rd 2022 – BewareOvercommitment! by Davina Mackail: Our New Moon at 1-2 degrees Sagittarius arrives on November 23rd at 10.57pm. Following in the wake of the emotional tsunami that was eclipse season in Scorpio this feels like a breath of fresh air.  Albeit a fiery breath.  With its ruler Jupiter grinding its great gears stationery ready to propel forward on the same day this is an energy of benevolent largesse.  Therein lies the issue – we’ve become used to the rigidity and emotional chaos of recent months.  This sudden shift of gears, whilst delightful on one level, makes us feel overly generous with our time and commitments on others.

Seven planets are currently emphasising the malleability of our existence. This cosmic reshuffle provides plenty of movement and little stability. This can feel chaotic to those of us who crave deep roots and strong foundations.  The trick is to anchor deep into your own core. This allows you the inner spaciousness to dance with change without getting bent out of shape.  Remember we are co-creators.  We spell life into being with every thought and word.  This new moon, ruled by our wisdom touting centaur, provides an opportunity to fully step into this empowered sense of co-creation.

New Moon November 23rd 2022

This is the first of 5 consecutive new moons all in the first degree. The first decan heralds something new.  This is a turning point.  A pivot. The recent eclipses shifted the Teutonic plates of our psyche. Now we’re in the process of integrating and choosing. What goes? What wants to evolve?

The Sabian symbol for this moon at 1-2 degrees Sagittarius is “the ocean covered with whitecaps”.  It’s referring to the tendency for us to react to the surface drama or watch in horror as others get whipped into a frenzy over nothing in particular. It is a flighty, nervous ‘tired and wired’ kind of energy that seeks an outlet. What is required is to dive deep beneath the surface where life is calmer, more stable with less drama queens. In these deep waters we can find a more reasoned response.

As with all new moons the Sun and Moon are conjunct.  Here they are together in Sagittarius with Jupiter, ruler of this signtrine to both.  Our cosmic Archer is an optimist at heart.  He believes in a better tomorrow.  He loves to wander the galactic highways seeking adventure and wisdom.  With benevolent ruler, Jupiter lighting up this moon expect the sudden urge to travel and explore wider horizons.  It could be catching a plane or train or it could be a travelling of the mind – new ideas, courses, training, workshops etc.

Sagittarius also symbolises the truth of the law so expect exactly that – legal challenges on the statutes themselves.  This moon brings a restlessness with it.  It’s an upwards and outwards energy. We are unlimited potential.  Think BIG.  Be creative.  As Einstein said we can’t solve our problems with the thinking we used to create them – governments take note! This is a cosmic opportunity to get curious about what would solve our issues. 

This moon brings us mutable fire. The fire element signifies Spirit, an empowered state of being.  The Archer is also the story teller – are your stories past their sell by date or do they still have long legs? We often define ourselves by reference to our past – who we were, what we once did.  The archetype of the Devil in the tarot sums this up beautifully.  The Devil represents the ‘chains that bind’ yet if we look at the word it is ‘Lived’ backwards i.e., our chains are formed by the gestalts we create from how we have lived. This new moon invites us to define ourselves by deciding on who our future self will be. Cosmic intelligence wants us to fast forward, enlarge ourpossibilities and expand our potential to reach the energy of our higher self.  True wisdom lies here.

Jupiter conjunct Neptune can blur the boundaries of truth. With an overload of information on the 3D continuing the only truth barometer we can trust is the knowing of our own hearts.  On the upside this love-in can open the Spiritual floodgates to our unbounded, limitless nature. Jupiter can also take us to extremes – be wary.  Walk the middle path to maintain equilibrium and balance.

Be mindful of expectations

We will need humour and honesty.  Whilst new seeds and new beginnings are sprouting in our fields of dreams, we can be frustrated by the details caused by grumpy Mars retrograde in Gemini.  Be mindful of expectations and the energy of disappointment. Luckily Sagittarius season makes us superadaptable – radical acceptance of the Now will be key.  Then we will be open to the higher perspectives supporting new understandings and breakthroughs.

Jupiter is stationing direct in the final degrees of Pisces right at the end of the zodiac wheel.  It’s comfortable here.  It’s a place of deep wisdom learned through experience. Saturn insists!

As ever Saturn is keeping his watchful eye on events as the new moon moves through the month.  Whereas Sagittarius can have a tendency to be all talk and no walk.  Saturn will insist on discarding the flaky pipe dreams.  Be mindful of the victim energy on the 3D that makes us want to give up. The real lesson is learning to change track and tune into higher help.

We need to allow ourselves to be vulnerable in order to fully embrace the new.  Our terror of failure can keep us stuck in the old, way past its sell by date.  But failure is the golden thread that leads to our eventual success.  The shadow of the Archer can be opinionated, righteous and judgmental.  When we raise our frequency, we remember we know nothing. There is always the excitement of learning something new, a new perspective just over the horizon.

Yes, our Centaur can exaggerate, and over commit.  But we need his enthusiasm.  The meaning of which is to be “inspired by God’s essence”.  Let the spirit of adventure, the Mystery, the wildness of your soul dance in delight.  This is the beginning of something. Trust the hero’s call to a new quest, a new vision. Adventure into the unknown, explore new horizons. New Moon Ritual

We have a fiery, adventurous new moon in Sagittarius perfect for a candle ritual.

New moons are all about powering up our intentions or setting new ones if we need extra inspirational oomph to carry us through to the full moon.

  • Choose a candle colour that supports grounded intention and fire energy e.g., yellow, orange or red.

Set your sacred space in whatever way feels aligned and good for you.  Spend some time in meditation and dreaming into your intention right now i.e. if you could manifest anything in the next two weeks what would it be?  Spend time feeling into the energy of the completed intention.  The joy, aliveness and excitement of having manifested your desire in 3D reality.

Write the intention in your journal.  Then keeping in the feeling of having already manifested the intent light your candle and spend time breathing with the light and fire of this energy giving thanks for your intent already being so.

For the next two weeks, until the full moon, light your candle every day and spend a few minutes feeling those same feelings of joy and excitement that your intent has manifested.

Also notice if any blocks or resistance arises e.g. ”this will never work”; “I don’t deserve this” etc 

If the full moon arrives and your intent remains unmanifest write those blocks on a piece of paper and burn them with the last remains of the candle. 

Start the process again with a new candle on the next new moon knowing you are several steps closer to manifesting those desires.

Always end your ritual by giving thanks to all those unseen beings who have supported you known and unknown and trusting that you are always divinely supported.

Some rather peculiar and – if I may- disturbingly weird video of sheep has gone viral these days. It seems that a rather huge flock located in northern Chine – inner Mongolia has caught by Surveillance cameras moving in perfect circle! Can sheep move in perfect circles?

It all began with just few sheep. But as it seems, later most of the flock joined the clockwise circling. Reportedly, they have been moving in the same pattern since November 4. Did they even stop to hydrate, eat or even sleep? Reports are rather confusing right now. News come right after another report of sheep also displaying an odd behaviour on the set of Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 8! The cast was pictured astonished but they had to pause filming.

Back in Mongolia, New York Post published this very weird footage of many ‘hypnotized’ sheep moving clockwise for not one hour or two, but for 12 days and nights! Some other sheep are just staring or stand still in the center. The footage of the strange scene was tweeted Wednesday by the Chinese “People’s Daily“. Contrary to other speculations of ‘listeriosis’, official Chinese media confirmed that the sheep are perfectly healthy and the cause of the behaviour remains a mystery.

Some Grandmothers are even more magical than others. Personally, I had the blessing to have a loving and inspiring witchy Grandma, who gifted me with much wisdom about the Otherworlds. This amazing lady, Jodie Marie Perryman, an 81-year-old grandma from Texas, prepared an otherworldly surprise for those who loved her. Jodie suffered from cancer and especially during summer she felt that her health was gradually declining. Sadly she passed away few weeks ago, on October 12.

However, she did not fell powerless and needed to inspire the attendees. Hence, in August she announced on that everyone attending her funeral would be “gifted their very own Ouija board”. She carefully prepared printed cards with a special message: “Let’s keep in touch”. Moreover, she included a picture of her giving the middle finger to lighten up the atmosphere.

But she did not stay to just that. She only had an ouija board prepared and handed out at her funeral. Needless to say that this become viral in the next days. Attendees were surprised and even some burst into laughter when they opened the ‘mysterious’ envelop labeled “From Jodie.” This amazing grandmother, reminds us that Death, is not the end. It’s only a portal to the Beyond.

Moreover this is a Total Lunar Eclipse. This is the second and last Eclipse of this Ecliptic Period. Therefore, the Ecliptic Period ends on the coming New Moon of the 23rd of November.

The Lunar Eclipse affects strongly Mercury, Uranus and Saturn, and quite so Venus. Saturn is activated purely stressfully so, while the rest planets are activated both ways. Uranus mostly beneficially so, while Mercury and Venus mostly stressfully so. Therefore, this is going to be an intense Lunar Eclipse.

Moreover, during the waning Moon period, Venus enters Sagittarius, on the 16th of November. Mercury does the same on the 17th. Then, finally, the Sun, too, enters Sagittarius, on the eve of the coming New Moon, on the 22nd of November. Furthermore, Retrograde activity is quite strong, as 40% of the planets are Retrograde, and it might feel even stronger as Jupiter slows down to practically stationary, and so does Neptune. After all, the former will turn Direct on the day of the coming New Moon, while the latter will turn Direct on the 4th of December.

The inauspicious influences of the Lunar Eclipse:

Saturn squares Uranus. This is a years-long aspect that keeps stressing us since 2020 and it will completely cease affecting us on the 24th of January 2023. Therefore, we only refer to it when it’s strong enough. On the 23rd of October its last peak came to an end, and now it’s getting weaker. Nonetheless, it’s still very strong, as its deviation will barely reach the 3° on the day of the coming New Moon.

Amongst else, this square reduces our freedom and sense of freedom. It makes achieving changes much more challenging. It can also give us the feeling that achieving those is out of our hands. Now that Saturn has turned Direct, and the square has started getting weaker, things should feel better than up until recently. Moreover, Saturn has been forming more auspicious aspects than stressful ones for some time now, and it will continue doing so for most of the remaining period of this square’s activity. Also, Venus opposes Uranus. The aspect became accurate on the 5th of November, and it started affecting us on the 30th of October. It will cease activity on the 13th of November. Moreover, Venus squares Saturn. The square became accurate on the 7th of November, and got activated on the 31st of October. It will remain active until the 15th of November. Also, Mercury opposes Uranus. Accurately so on the 9th of November. The aspect is active since the 4th of November and it will remain so until the 15th of November. Since the 1st of November, the Sun, too, squares Saturn. This square will become accurate on the 11th of November, and it will remain active until the 21st of the month. It will remain active until the 17th of December. The square will become accurate again during this fortnight, on the 19th of November, when both planets will be Retrograde. The auspicious influences of the Lunar Eclipse:

Neptune’s years-long hexagon with Pluto is still noticeable strong. As we’ve said, although this hexagon will be becoming stronger and weaker many times, without ever losing most of its strength, it won’t become accurate again until the 24th of July 2026. By then, though, both planets will have changed their zodiacs.

For this year, though, on the 25th of March the hexagon crossed the midpoint of the 5° deviation, becoming quite strong and it will remain so until the 17th of January 2023, when it will, once again cross the 5°, but, then, while it will be becoming weaker. In fact, Jupiter and Neptune’s conjunction won’t even reach the midpoint of the 5°. Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon, though, has already crossed the 3°, on the 6th of November, becoming quite strong. It will eventually reach a peak of 2° 6’ on the 1st of December.

Therefore, Jupiter’s and Neptune’s conjunction will barely affect us, other than supporting Neptune’s and Pluto’s hexagon, but Jupiter’s and Pluto’s hexagon will bless us significantly. Amongst else, this can promote progress in the medical and medicinal field, in a global level, while it can help financial affairs in a personal level. It (and both aspects, actually) can also strengthen magic.

Also, the Sun conjuncts Venus. The conjunction became accurate on the 22nd of October, when both planets were in Libra. It has been affecting us since the 17th of September, when both planets were in Virgo, and it will continue doing so until the 2nd of December, when both planet will be in Sagittarius. This conjunction can bring some help to love life, social life, financial matters and also, to jobs related to health, beautification and the arts.

Similarly, the Sun conjuncts Mercury. Accurately so on the day of this Lunar Eclipse – the 8th of November – and under the influences of the Lunar Eclipse. The aspect is active since the Solar Eclipse and it will remain so until the 26th of November. Amongst else, this conjunction can help trade and all jobs depending on transportations and communications. It can also support social life.

Naturally, Venus conjuncts Mercury. The aspect has been affecting us since the 25th of October, and it will continue doing so until the 4th of January, 2023. During this period, the conjunction will become accurate two times. For the first time on the 21st of November, when both planets will be Direct and in Sagittarius. For the second time, on the 29th of December, the day Mercury turns Retrograde, and a few hours after Mercury has turned Retrograde. Then, both planets will be in Capricorn.

On the 6th of November, the conjunction crossed the 5°, as it closes up, and it won’t cross again the 5° until the 11th of December. Nonetheless, it won’t deviate much farther, and then, from the 24th of December and until the 1st of January, its deviation will, once again, be under the 5° Therefore, from the 6th of November and until just three days before the end of this conjunction’s period of activity it will be, at the very least, significantly strong.

Amongst else, this aspect supports love life, social life, studies of all kinds – and more so health, beauty and art related ones – jobs and careers of all kinds – and more so of health, beauty, art and trade. Of course, it will be more beneficial while Mercury is still Direct, but this is practically the whole period other than the last seven days.

Keep in mind that not only this is a rare long lasting conjunction (and it’s also strong for the most part of its activity), but also, the next time the two planets will meet – the only time they’ll meet in 2023 – it will be for a very short-lived conjunction and, then, Venus will be Retrograde the whole time (other than the first day).

This triangle got activated on the eve of this Lunar Eclipse, the 7th of November, and it will remain active until the 19th of the month. The triangle will be active from the day of this Lunar Eclipse and until the New Moon of the 23rd of November, the day Jupiter turns Direct. Love and social life receive support from this aspect. Mercury, too, forms a triangle with Jupiter. Accurate so on the 16th of November. The aspect will be active from the 11th of November and until the 23rd of the month. Naturally, the Sun, too, forms a triangle with Jupiter. Accurately so on the 21st of November. The aspect will be active from the 12th of November and until the 1st of December. So this will be an intense Lunar Eclipse. Many planets are affected, while at the same time, Retrograde activity is not small, after all.
